In a dystopian L.A. future, a former police detective is offered as much of an hyper-addictive drug "Flashback" as he wants; if he solves a long forgotten murder.

The United States - one day after tomorrow. Flashback, a new drug that allows its users to relive any chosen memory experiencing again and again the best moments of their lives, has decimated the country. After LA police detective Nick Bottom's wife dies in a car accident, he goes under Flash to be with her; now he's lost his job, his teenage son, and his livelihood as a result. As Nick begins putting the pieces of his life together, what starts as the questioning of his wife's seemingly random car crash soon becomes something much bigger and this flashback-addict becomes the one man who may be able to save an entire nation.
